Russell began his career as a meat delivery driver working throughout London before moving into haulage and establishing Upminster Distribution in 1999. The business initially provided a hub for European connections into the London market and has grown steadily in size and capability ever since.
Today, Russell's three sons are actively involved in the business - something he is particularly proud of - continuing to develop the company while keeping the family values and practical approach it was built on.
